Hostal Arrate - Madrid

We stayed for trip and would have extended the stay. Everything was great, personnel was superfriendly and affable. Overall it was clean with a balcony. The location was magnificent for traveling around Madrid, adjacent to center of Madrid, spain and 2 metro stations. Diner Ferros Cafe located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

Conveniently located within a 10-15 minute walk to Faro de Madrid. the rooms come with all the essentials and offer a lovely sunset view 🌅.

Make sure to get economy room with a balcony and a nice sunset view, for example. And it's well-equipped. The location is favourable and excellent in a safe area, so close to 2 metro stations and the metro: D

I recently stayed at Hostal Arrate for a few days while visiting the university. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially in assisting my friend with limited mobility. They even arranged secure storage for his luggage while he continued his solo travels. The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to the university and the city center. The room was cozy and had all the amenities I needed, including a small sink, television, and desk. I particularly enjoyed the small balcony on the top floor, providing a lovely view. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets available. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, even with my limited Spanish. a great experience.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hostal Arrate in Madrid. the hotel is located close to the City Center. - the venue is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Madrid. - We booked a double room online with a lovely sunset view and a balcony. - Everyone, including the owner, was helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel is great, with its close proximity to the city center and two metro stations. It makes exploring the city convenient and easy. there are various restaurants and bars in the area, providing plenty of options for dining and entertainment.

The noise levels from the nearby bar on Friday nights can be quite disruptive, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The new owners were lovely and accommodating, upgraded our room, convenient location near metro, quiet and safe area, comfortable bed.

So many shops and bars on Calle Princesa, it's a shopper's paradise! The 24-hour reception actually had tourist info and luggage storage! Wow, a guesthouse with free WiFi, what a rarity!

Oh, and let's not forget the joy of hearing other people's conversations in Spanish houses. So enlightening.

The room at Hostal Arrate was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely tile/marble floor and a flat-screen TV. The air conditioning was a blessing during the hot summer days in Madrid!

Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom with free toiletries. But hey, I understand that some people might not mind using the shared bathroom facilities.

The value for money was great, with comfortable and clean rooms, and a helpful and friendly staff. The location was convenient, close to the university, metro, and the arc of Victoria, making it easy to get around.

Breakfast items could have been improved with the addition of hand towels or paper towels in the shared bathroom.
